To the Electors of Polwarth

December 12, 2018

I am honoured to have been returned as your representative in the Victorian Parliament at the recent State election. Elections are an important time to reassess the priorities of communities, and regardless of how you voted, I am always available for your feedback and suggestions how I can better represent you.

I would like to take this opportunity to reassure you that I will continue to support your community and our beautiful region in my capacity as the Member for Polwarth. I am aware of the need for sensible and sustainable planning in our coastal and country communities and recognise the tourism stress that is impacting on our Great Ocean Road. I understand the need to upgrade amenities and services throughout our region and I will continue to support the needs of the residents, businesses and farmers of Polwarth.

I acknowledge the many concerns about the environmental changes that are affecting our region. The coast and hinterlands are rich in delicate and diverse ecosystems that need protection and as your representative, I will continue to make sure your voice is heard in Parliament.

Polwarth is a beautiful region of Victoria, with an abundance of opportunities and lifestyle choices for those fortunate enough to live here. Our productive farmlands, iconic coastal towns, rainforests and vibrant country centres will ensure our continued prosperity. I am proud to live and work here, to raise my family here and to be your spokesperson in Parliament.

My promise to you is that I will work hard and always put locals first. Thank you for entrusting me with the privilege of being your representative, I look forward to hearing from you.
