Richard Riordan MP: Coles to boost Colac grocery deliveries

ISOLATED Colac residents will receive a helping hand getting their groceries, with a supermarket giant boosting deliveries to the region.
Online Coles grocery orders for Colac residents, packed at the Waurn Ponds store, will now be delivered twice a day rather than twice a week.

The supermarket giant has also wheeled out a new delivery van to deal with increased demand at the store.
“With such a large number of Colac residents currently in isolation, Coles Online wanted to make sure customers still had access to groceries and home essentials without having to leave home,” Coles e-commerce chief executive Ben Hassing said.
“We’ve increased the frequency of home delivery windows from twice a week to 14 times a week and added an extra van to significantly increase the number of orders we can deliver.
“The brand new van will start tomorrow and will help make life a little easier for the Colac community during this difficult time.”
