Liberal MP Richard Riordan says Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews has taken to lecturing the youth on Facebook rather than admit the state failed to ensure officials were doing their jobs correctly.
“Last night, Dan Andrews sent out another lecture to the young people of Victoria on Facebook, telling them that they had an obligation to stay home and do the right thing,” Mr Riordan told Sky News host James Morrow.
“Victorians are tiring of being lectured to everyday that they’re not doing the right thing, yet not one minister has resigned, not one minister has said sorry.
“The Premier ... has not come out and said to people ‘we’ve made a mistake; we can do better’.
“He won’t admit that it is entirely the state governments fault that we are seeing this second wave.”
